On day 1, scorers will be given a training pack with handouts, scoresheets etc. This is a two-day course, with scorers attending both days being awarded an ECBACO Club Scorer certificate of attendance. It is the first step on the ECBACO (England and Wales Cricket Board Association of Cricket Officials) scoring pathway for those interested in progressing but is also suitable for scorers in any cricket match, including complete beginners with no previous scoring experience.Īttendees should expect to partake in classroom discussion and practical scoring exercises. Club Scorer teaches you how to score using the ‘traditional’ Box-style method on a paper scoresheet and covers the main Laws of Cricket that relate to scoring.
